Built from the Woodworking magazine article in the Summer '08 issue. It's souther yellow pine with a cedar bottom. The artwork on the front was done by my mother in law for my son.

Finish is milk paint topped with wax, the inside is bare wood.

The cleats and feet are maple, the beckets are hemp rope. Hinges from Lee Valley, and the lid assists came from Rockler.

Nice job. Did you use cedar wood or some the the T&G cedar paneling on top of another wood for the bottom?

I actually bought some cedar fence planks and milled those down for the bottom.
