Get one of your local woodturners to do it - keep it in the family as it were.

Make some coopered blanks yourself and have them turned. If you have access to a lathe.... not that difficult.

Those columns are easily turned on a lathe if you have one or access to one. I have seen columns in home centers like Lowe's or HD...but they are considerably taller and more expensive than you would want to use in a
fireplace/ mantel enclosure. Just remember, you would only have to make
one like you wanted, and then split it lenghtwise...now you have two!
Something to think about anyway!

Thanks for the replies. However if you look closer the columns in the photo are not 2 halves. Looks like they took an inch or so off of the side.
Don't have access to a lathe, plus they appear to be 5 feet long.
thanks again.

Brian contact the West Island Woodturners. I am sure one of the members will be able to make the columns.
