Delta Steel bed lathe

Hi all. I saw a Delta 46-755X lathe on craigslist for a decent price. This seems to have similar features as the Jet 1642, however there don't seem to be any reviews, etc availabe for it. I was wondering if anybody has had a chance to use one or even has heard anything about them.

I used them in high school, they don't compare to the JET in my opinion. If you have a choice between the two go for the Jet. There was one good thing about it though, it went down to 1 rpm.

The delta has a steel bed and weighs less than 400# where as the Jet is cast iron and weighs 450#. Also, I had a really big problem with the tail stock sliding, I constantly had to tighten it.
