I'm going to sound like a broken record -- if you plan on resawing, get the riser block kit now that way you only have to set it up once.

4-10 on buying the riser right away. I bought my saw and then a month latter I broke down and bought the riser. I resaw 8" occasionally so it is night to have. Scrap the cheap grizzly blades and buy some good ones right away. You will like the saw, it cuts real nice and is easy to set up.

When I got my Delta, I bought the riser the same day. No sense buying 93.5" blades when I won't be needing them in a few days.
