I have a ULS X660. Installed the print driver, set all the parameters
for Corel X4 and installed the specific files required to the Corel
program files for X4. OS is Windows XP.

Connected it from computer usb port to parallel port on the laser.

Laser will not accept the file, laser is showing READY. Tried
different USB ports and still show laser as offline, the print file
just stays in the que. Changed the printer setting to online,
sent the file and screen pops up at bottom as to error but no code #.

Any ideas to solve this issue?

Len,

First thing UN-plug usb cable from computer.
clear the print buffer completely
Re start your computer
Check to be sure the print buffer is clear
Plug the USB cable back in
go to your printer section in the control panel
click once on the print driver then right click and select properties
select the PORTS tab
start with the first virtual printer port
be sure that the laser system is on and ready
also be sure that the laser system is set for parallel port mode
after you select the Virtual printer port then print a test page
If the file goes through then you have found the correct port if it does not then clear the print buffer turn off the laser and then turn it back on again and select the next virtual printer port and try again.

It is important to be sure that the print buffer is clear and that the laser is on and ready before you print a file.
