Using a bench top router table on a table saw extension

I would like to add a router table to my Delta hybrid table saw. I already have a 21" x 16" portable router table. Does anyone have any advice on mounting that to an extension? I am trying to figure out how to secure it to the fence and wing on the right side of the table saw and deal with the 3" [ (27"-21")/2 ] of space on each side.
