Hi,

I'm located in Europe so metric is in my blood... :)

Does anyone know if it's available with the ruler in metric?

Maybe it's possible to buy it in imperical and exchange it to a metric afterwards?

I've tried to contact JessEm, but they haven't answered yet and since you guys seem to know everything, I thought I'd give it a try here :D

Thanks!

Niels

Hi. That's a question I had not even thought of. Could it be because I am in the USA, where we were supposed to adopt the metric system 25 years ago and still haven't yet? Just a thought though. With the scale being some what rigid, if all else fails, could you not put a self stick steel tape over it? You're going to make me run out to the shop just to see. :)

I was also thinking of whether it's possible to retrofit a metric scale, but it must be possible to adjust it - just like the original is.

Please run out to your shop and look :D

Niels,
The scales are attached to an aluminum strip that is adjustable left to right.
You could peel off the english tape and add a metric one if you wish. However, since JessEm is, I believe, a Canadian company; I would expect them to have metric tapes available.
