Curly maple domino box

This is all curly maple with a rose wood domino starter piece. Finished just in time to watch the NASCAR race that was rained out. :(
Sanded to 1200 and finished with mineral oil.

Nice job Myk! You have to watch around here. Word association games with woodworkers are tough - limited vocabularies:D Most of these guys would think that it was worthwhile to put all that effort in a box to house their Festool! Come to think of it......

I bet that curly maple gets like glass with 1200 grit paper.It is smooth. Not often I take something down that far. I had considered 2000 grit, but figured, why bother.
