View Full Version : Apple Vase 2 versions

I finished this Apple vase up today, this inside out finial was one that I done a while back that looked to big for the form it was on so I'm thinking about leaving it on this piece. The form is about 12'' high x 6''. Antique oil finish.

Looks great to me Mike! Love the form on the vase! Would have never guessed the wood to be apple! Really like the small foot! Finial has the right proportions for this piece! Very nice work - as usual!!

Wow, Mike, very beautiful. Question; is the inside out finial just the ball section or is the whole finial done that way? I see not a single sign of a seam. Phil

The finial is four parts, from top to bottom.
