Direct vent coal, wood and pellet stoves

Hi:

Does anyone here have a direct vent wood, coal , or pellet stove? What is your opinion of it? What problems, if any, have you had with it? What brands are best? Which is cheaper to buy? Coal or Pellets?

I can't help on the coal or pellet stove, but you may want to look at some of the European wood stoves. We stayed at a friend's chalet that was heated by a very efficient wood stove. Three quatrers of an approximately 6" log about 8" long not only heated the chaletfor the night, but almost ran us out. I think it is the most efficient wood stove I've ever seen.
