Stopped at someones house to inquire about their sign for free mulch. Got to talking and mentioned I was a turner. She said,"you have to see this!" She showed me a white oak burl.
He said,"I want to get rid of this walnut tree!" He showed me a thirty foot walnut. Jeff Nicol said,"Let's go!. We did. Limbs being cut up for small turning competition in our club.:D

After a couple of tries I got it to work. This is the first time I have gotten so much free wood. I have some standing birch a farmer says I can drop anytime I'm ready to. Hey this is more fun than hunting night crawlers...
