Laser Problems

:mad: I have a Accuris 25 Watt I have been having problems with it.
It start engraving lines after a while if I pause it and start it again.
It quits and the other day I notice that I left the laser on and it was just
sitting there with no file sent to it and you could see it firing the laser.
Anybody know what could be wrong.

Noise in the enable line, bad ground on the control board... two items I can think of offhand.

Make sure the Laser and Computer is plugged into a grounded outlet.

Try making a file with a square made in Corel or something like that and tell it to burn or laser it. That takes out the artwork issues.

Are your lens and mirrors clean?

Anything getting in the way of the beam, a air assist hose inside the machine?....

Any loose plugs or connectors?

Door Magnets loose causing intermittent STOP LASERING commands?...

There is what is called a tickle adjustment you can make but should be done only with the direction of a tech.
