Today was a GOOD day

After waiting over a week I got a call this morning that they wanted to deliver my new Jet 1642 2. My wife had other plans for the day but knew that I was not going to be part of them. They delivered around noon. I got lucky. My oldest son is visiting from Wis. and was a big help putting it together. All looks fine except for some paint on the head. will find some paint for it. First project has been compleated and is in the pics.

Remember that pic of a nice clean shop.......I only turn for an hour or 2 in the evenings and a few hours on the weekends and have been hauling 6 or more whell barrow loads of shavings a week out. Sure is fun to turn on a new lathe congrats.
