What is the experience with Data Matrix and BarCodes?

For Barcodes I found a direct wizard in Corel X4, however it's interesting to learn how other people do it in practice.

For Data Matrix I easily found on-line utilities that can create a matrix, but again - I'm interesting to learn if other users found more effifient methods and tools

Bartender is by far the easiest we have used and we can print directly from Bartender to the ULS systems.
