Screwdriver with bit lock like power driver?

Is there a manual screwdriver with interchangeable bits which has a mechanism for holding the bits ( a sliding collar) like power drivers do? - like the Riyobi cordless driver. I don't like the screwdrivers that rely on magnetism to hold the bit since a tight screw head often pulls the bit out. And I don't like the kind that relies on a metal clip that holds the bit so tight that you need a pair of pliers to pull it out.

I believe that a Yankee Screwdriver has a collar type attachment for bit replacements. Why do you dislike the magnetic types? They always seem to work well for me.

This may not help necessarily. I use the cones out of this set (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=11153&filter=sharpening) for my mortise chisels and the handle for a screwdriver as you describe. The handle differs a bit from the pic, the collar is more like the tip on this (http://images.orgill.com/200x200/4843892.jpg).

The handle in the first picture looks promising. The bits have the valley around their base that a driver mechanism uses to capture them. I don't like the magnetic based screwdrivers because the bits pull out. They may work fine when the bits are new and un-magnetized, but if you leave a bit in screwdriver for awhile,the bit gets magnetized. Then when you pull it away from the head of the screw, the bit sometimes pops out of the screwdriver because it both mechanically sticks to the head and is also attracted to it..

Makita makes a manual screwdriver that is what your looking for. I bought one several years ago at Costco and I would hate to ever lose it.
