Winged carob crotch bowl

This is a piece of carob I saw being cut by the municipality about 10 months ago and took a few large branches, accepting that they would probably be almost pure white and not the expected reddish hues. All 8 trees on the road were trimmed down. Not a month later, someone in the municipality changed his mind and they were all uprooted and disposed off in order to widen the street, but I was not there in time. The bowl is my first winged one. Bark remained almost everywhere planned. I find the brownish hue quite satisfying and is probably a result of rotting just beginning to take place.
