Amazon is only $100 more on 2 HP Jet

You can get the 2 HP jet 1642 for around $1739 or so. That's only about $100 more than the 1.5 HP model if you look at Woodcraft's deal. I'd like to go for the Amazon deal. In fact I'm dying to go for this deal as I've wanted to upgrade my Delta Lathe for a long time. Anybody bought the Amazon deal yet?

Got mine from Amazon about 3 years ago. Had some problems with it (motor vibration) after about 7 months use. Amazon sent me a complete new lathe. If this happens to you, be sure to document your return shipment, including name of the trucking co. and signature of the driver.
