I have two eggbeaters that have hollow handles, but are missing their caps. The first is a Miller Falls #2 from 1903, and the second is a Sweetheart 614. The 614 also needs a crank handle.
Anyone have any donors laying around or any ideas where I might get these parts?

I've got a couple eggbeaters I'd like to rehab too. Started one, shown below, but I'm stuck on the crank knob. I could attache knob to a bolt but don't really know how to allow it to turn freely.
As for the handle, I can't chase threads yet so I got this from Lee Valley

its a gold plated box ring 20 mm. if the link doesn't work, search for part 88K74.08 on the Lee Valley site. I didn't execute this one real well, there is a crack near the ferrule. I think I can do better on the next one. I may not hollow it either, I haven't decided. Shouldn't have done the learning curve on the nice chunk of pink ivory but I thought it appropriate for all mllers falls red :)
anyway here's a couple pics of my work in progress
cheers
pat

I wrote Wiktor several days ago but he hasn't replied. He does not show these parts on his web site.
