I am looking at a Steel City 48120 shaper

and I can't find a single review for it anywhere. It is the titanium top model. The one I am looking at is brand new and I can get it for an incredible price. Has anyone ever used one? How does the fence perform? Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like the same machine as my General International 3hp. I cannot confirm.

If it is, pay special attention to the fence adjustments..

I use mine every week...

Its one of those machines that I wouldn't buy again, but its not so irritating that I want to be without it either.. lol...

Hey Caleb.. I sent you an e-mail, acutually two so be sure to read both. And if I were you I would email Rick to ask why he wouldn't get one again. He may have been talking about shapers in general or could be a specific with the Steel City and General as they are very similar along with several other shapers.
