hollowing tool cutter from a 3/8ths drill bit

i seem to remember someone posting about putting a 3/8ths drill bit into a hollowing bar and grinding it a certain way to make it a cutter. i searched but couldnt come up with the thread. if anyone remembers it, could you link it up for me. thanks.
