ok ok im very very sorry.. got a rush order for some of my jewelry yesterday... would have poster yesterday..

But her goes...

I know a Turner.. on of the very very few in Denmark who i actually a pro turner... But not any more he decided to drop it and concentrate on arborsime / wood worker chainsaw master stuff...

When this guy makes up his mind there is no running around the bush.. so after kicking around his store of rough turned bowls and a stack of burls and some other stuff he almost dumped the lot in his stove..... But the though that i might be interessted... so the score is 300 !! YES 300 rough turned bowls, lamps, vases, boxes!!! several burls, and around 400 bottelstopper blanks(yew burls, black locust burl, birdseye birch)

the bowls are 1/3 burl, and 1/3 rare wood 1/3 generic

bowls ranging from small bowls to baby bathtubs.....

Oh and did i say that i scored another free monster burl ?? cherry...

thank you all :-) the great thing is that his style and mine are not all that different.. if i mixed my rougturnings with his you would be pressed to sort them...

and they were free, completly.. but i made a small return, a big basket of homemade stuff from LOML stash (and she is GOOD at it!!) along with a couple bottels of sigle malt from my stash of rare ones...

You should lighten your load of rough turned bowls and all by sending some of that to San Diego. but yes, that's a pretty good gloat. I haven't topped that one but who knows, maybe one of these days.

Jim : well no... because the 3520 is the max of what i have room for right now.. my shop is 2.4 meters by 5 meters. and i have all my exoticx and burls inthers also... and an jet BS18 and grinders, and drillpress, and disk/beltsander, dustextraction and and and and... So altoug i would love to get michael at PROMAT to build me a new or bigger bench i just haven got the space for it.. The white lady can handel the load... i need the bed extension (have orderd) but besides that she should be able to handet it...

ill post a new foto set when i have taken the photos of my newly renovated drying/storage shop.. i put in 3 racks 90X180X45 and they are FULL on the point of breakage. and still have more stashed in the shop and in the garage and....... mut get to turn some of it to completion.. then i can stash it in other peopels homes while helping them get rid of some money...

Well to all wishig to recive something :-) i might just be up for that.. but more on that later.. competition maby... might get you guys interessted in the now soon rare ElmBurl.. (i have e very close fried whos trying to sell some) but letting some of it flow free mig get others to want to try ;)
