I had a lot of fun and frustration with this one. Had an intentional design change midway, and llike it much better.

That wood has a lot of character and you did a good job of showing it off.

Gary - Congrats on your first HF! Looks pretty good to me! Cool looking wood with lots of character! Nice work! Looking forward to your next one but I do have to warn you - hollow forms are very addictive! Have fun!

Great job on the Black Oak Burl. Form and finish look good. Black Oak is not always easy to work with.

Gary great looking first HF and wood looks great with the exception it is kinda hard to work with. Well done.

Gary, The vessel is very nice the shape shows the burl and inclusions well! I like the old black oak as I have lots of it to chose from!

Beautiful, Don't take this the wrong way but the first thing I thought of when I saw it was Charlie Brown's ghost costume in the Great Pumpkin.

I love it wish I had some burls!!!
