Hello Everyone:

I'm new to the forum and would like to get your advice on how to etch a seal that is round. I have a Epilog 45 watt helix w/ the rotary attachement and I'm etching a pint glass.

The etch comes out oval, I've slowed the machine down to 20% thinking it was slipping, but the result is the same. Any one run into this issue? and how did you fix?

Regards,

Dan

hi dan... when I etched a mirror for a project I bought the kit that includes stensils and etching liquid. can't remember what it's name was, but do a searh on Amazon or Ebay, and you'll find what you need. easy to use, and it does a wonderful job!! sorry I can't help more...

I think this needs to be moved to the engraving forum where this gentleman can get his question answered.

Sorry, can't help you as I don't have a rotary attachment.
