Vega 12 X 36

Hi,

This afternoon I'm going to look at a used Vega 12" X 36" spindle lathe. Do any of you have any experience with this lathe? It appears to have a lever type tailstock and an enclosed step pully drive. it has the clamping bars under the bed. The owners isn't really proud of it( as in not much $)
I'm looking for a longer bed lathe to compliment my JWL 1220.

Not that exact lathe but I have a Vega 1553. which is 53" between centers. It is a wonderful lathe. Vega support is great too.
