First I intended to fill my granite tiles with Rub n' Buff, so ordered me a complete set - which arrived last Friday - exciting :) I dropped the plan for the granit though, now I'm not really sure anymore what to use it for. What are your applications ?

I really only use gold and silver now......the other colors I have tried (chinese red, patina and ebony) just don't seem to work the way the gold and silver do.

I use them on acrylic mostly......take a piece of black acrylic, engrave, wipe on the gold and after about one minute, buff it off........it looks really sharp.

The rub'n'buf stuff works well on most things, but it can be a bugger to get off once it has dried, so I would recommend that you use small amounts at a time.

Have been using the silver and gold rub n buff with great success on glass ornaments and blue shot glasses...I have a customer who would like a logo on a blue glass coffee mug...
it came out pretty cool looking, but now I'm wondering is it safe to use on a coffee mug that might be put in a microwave???
I used it on a ceramic mug that has been through the dishwasher and still looks good, but haven't used it in the micro yet.
Not sure if it has metal in it...
I've warned them that it might not last long. Sorry the photo is so large it makes it look pretty rough, but its not.

That look good, Linda. Very interesting info that it stands the dishwasher.

I still didn't have a chance to give it a try, but Acrylic also sounds pretty interesting

Andrea , be very careful with stone and Rub n buff , stone is porous and it stains and is impossible to clean. You must seal it first before lasering. We use gilders paste rather than rub n buff , its 1/5th the price and its not as runny.
Turpentine cleans both gilders and rub n buff off.
Here are some examples from my range of goods where we use it on acrylics
