Does anyone have one of these that would comment?
I have a small shop (12x18), and have 2 dust/chip producers:
A lathe, and
A 17" bandsaw

The bandsaw has 2 4" dust ports on it, and of course the lathe is open, and I would have to make some sort of hood for it. I make a lot of bowls, generate a lot of shavings and dust when I sand.

I have a ceiling mounted air cleaner, and it helps with airborne dust, but with nothing hooked up to the band saw, it gets dusty inside immediately, to the point that I think it will begin to ruin the tires and blade tracking. The bandsaw really almost requires a DC.

Anyway, the Mini-Gorilla, if I got it, would only be hooked up to one machine at a time. Obviously, a 2 or 3 hp wall mounted DC would work, but if this Mini would do the job.....

I would love some feedback from an owner or two, especially on how the noise level enters into your use of it. If it is so noisy as to be irritating, the tempation is to shut it off. When used with the bandsaw, the saw would probably drown out the DC. But the lathe is very quiet. The specs say the DC is 76db, but I don't really know how loud that is.
