Cermark tape on aluminium

How well does the tape work? Have an epilog mini 24 45w.

So far my experience with 25Watts shows Cermark-anything does not go well on aluminum. I think the metal transfers the heat away too fast to get a high enough temperature for a good bond.

I have some of the tape here, and once tried it on belt buckles - it did not come out well. It did either not hold or it looked kind of burned. So I prefer the liquid stuff, even though it looks more grey than the tape
