New ornaments

I guess I'm kinda stuck on ornaments right now, but I'm having fun! :D These are the latest one's I've made. The acorn birdhouses are two shades of cambarra wood. Green shell is cherry wood and the other shell is cambarra wood. I got the bottom too large in diameter on the green shell, and not as long as I wanted on the other shell because some of it broke off when I was almost done :mad:. The longest one is 4 inches, the shortest one is 2 1/8 inches. They all weigh less than 1 ounce.

I really like your ornaments. I like the way the icecicle of the second ornament appears to be coming out of the shell (rather than the way the shell appears to be sandwiched between two pieces of wood on the 1st ornament).

How'd you do the texturing on the acorn's?

Really nice ornaments! It's a good time to be doing them. If you wait until closer to Christmas it always seems like things get to busy to turn ornaments.
