Hi:

Does anyone know where I can get planer blades for a 3 1/2" Ryobi planer? I bought a new 3 1/2" planer and the blades for the new planer are very narrow when I compare it to the old Ryobi. Is there any company that still makes a hand planer with wide blades ?

Thanks,

Bob

Bob....I inquired awhile back about a dust hood for my AP10 Ryobi planer and got this information for Ryobi parts.

If you are located East of the Mississippi, please
contact Dixie Sales toll free at 1-877-794-7225. If you are located West of
the Mississippi, please contact Billious toll free at 1-877-245-5468. If
you are a Canadian resident, accessories can be ordered direct from Barrett
Diversified at 1-800-561-0004.

Hope this helps. Rod in Appleton, WA

Wide handheld planers? Yes, timber framers use them. Check out http://www.timberwolftools.com/tools/kind/planers.html for planers from 7" wide up to nearly 14".

After I went on a search and trying numerous phone numbers for ryobi parts, I finally got the right person. I asked the person that I was talking to what the number for them was so that this wouldn't happen again. This is the number that she gave me:
1-877-245-5468.
Good luck!
