Here is how far I've gotten in the new shop. Most of the old paneling is off. Since the separating wall is coming down I build a beam to hold up the dropped ceiling, instead of taking it all down and starting over.
Had a helper today. Wild Man Dave! He took the carpet up in the small room and proceeded to scrape almost all of the glue off. NOW YOU CAN SEE the beautiful Terazzo floor. He also got the hallway carpet glue off. Really a BIG help! I'd be dead if I tried it. We may not have to use Toxic release agent. That's VERY good for us.
For the next day, Dave gets to gets to remove the carpet backing and glue from the front room. Meanwhile, I am going to run the electrical wiring.
Then we'll see where we stand. Here are some pictures to compare to the Before!
