have been hard at work for the last (lOOOONG) time

a well im not complaining i my own boss and i get to play with shavings all day ....

Here are a few realy quick shots of some of the burly stuff i have been playing with, along with a humongus amount of rough turning (some 50 bowls)

First a combined shot taken quick on my worktabel..
from left to right
elm Burl naturaledge, elm burl, and red alder burl.
you can se the zippo lighter for size.. the read alder has a nice inclusion in it and is 3 mm thick light as a feater...

comments and critique are welcome

Wow - beautiful work Rasmus! 3 bowls - 3 very different styles! Really like the natural edge elm burl! Very thin and reminds me of an egg shell! The elm burl bowl has that contemporary 'thick' look and should really grab your customer's attention! Great form on the red alder burl bowl! Can't believe how thin you got it! Very nice work - seriously - very nice work on everything! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice burls and work. I like #2. Scary though to use a fire source as a scale. replace the zippo with a coke bottle, eh?

Rasmus,

That is a great trio of bowls! I really like the heavy wide rimmed one, it shows all the burl and twisted grain, very nice! Show us more when you can!

Beautiful work. All of your turnings have a very natural form. You've done an excellent job of pulling the form from the wood. Something MichaelAngelo would be proud of.
