I just noticed the Bosch 4212 is significantly cheaper than the 4210. I don't understand why. I would think they are essentially equal with the obvious exception of size. What gives?

No, I mean the Bosch SCMS.

Any links for the 4210? I know Bosch makes a 4410 sliding 10 inch saw, but I'm not aware of a 4210. Couldn't find it with Google either... If you are talking about the 4410, then the price discrepancy is almost surely due to the fact that the 4410 is a sliding miter saw whereas the 4212 is not. I'm not sure that a 10" SCMS is always more expensive than its 12" CMS variant, but as far as I can tell, that seems to be the norm.

By the way, the 4412 was my first Bosch tool. That saw has treated me so well that if I need a tool and Bosch makes it, I'm 99% likely to buy the Bosch tool.
