P & C 60 1/2 size block plane?

I picked one of these up this am at a flea mkt. Its a identacle in size to a 60 1/2 stanley, low angle, and has a slightly thincker blade. On the side it says P&C 1945 USA. Looks like it will make a good user, I'm just wondering if anyone knows anymore about thier planes. I did a search and found a little info on the company, and just about every other too they made other than planes.

Any info will be appreciated !
