Why not to hurry or not double check things. Fired up the router table and didn't have the router locked into it's base. Came spinning out and bit hit the edge of the metal legs and snapped a big chunk off. was very scary to say the least when a 2hp router hits the ground spinning full tilt with a bit in it.

Yikes! :eek: I'm always a little apprehensive when I turn a router on - I guess it's good to stay that way.
