Howdy Again;
This is another recently completed piece. It is a Cherry HF / Bowl / …. It came from a 100 year old cherry tree that was spared when the neighbor hood was constructed in the 60’s. My wonderful wife has been trained to follow the sound of chain saws when she is out on her walks. She talked to the home owner when this tree was being trimmed and I got a good load of cherry.

This piece 8 X 3 and finished with gel poly. I appreciate any feedback you may have.

Thanks,
Mike

Nice looking piece Mike. Love the grain and the way you were able to present it. I also like the large opening on the top. I know most would have went with a smaller opening but I think it fits well with the color and grain pattern. It's really a stunning piece. Good form too!
