Ruc saw?

Has anyone ever heard of or used a ruc bandsaw? Thanks

I googled every combination I could think of (ruc bandsaw, ruc saw, rucsaw, ruck saw, rucksaw, etc) and found nothing. Where did you come across the term?:confused:

there was a CL listing with a lot of tools including a bandsaw that looked like a hitachi (cb75) so i called the guy. he was selling his grandfathers tools who unfortunately passed away and he told me it was a ruc bandsaw. the listing was in phila and posted 4/30/09. AND THANKS FOR TRYING TO FIND OUT INFO FOR ME!!!!

Heaven knows what that abbreviation could be:eek: If it was his grandfather's saw, maybe it was some old manufacturer.

Any guesses out there amongst our seasoned woodworkers?:rolleyes:
