Howdy everyone,

I realize this probably belongs on the OT forum but please bear with me Mr. Moderator. :D

I recieved my sign that I won on SMC free stuff. Keith made it from corian. It is truly beautiful. I don't know exactly what to do with it just yet, but I just couldn't wait to show it off.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SMC and especially Keith!!!!!!!!!!! When the giveaway was first posted I really, really, really wanted the sign. I knew it would be something very special and it certainly is. I feel super lucky and honored to have actually won it.

BTW....I think Keith has an idea or two for lightening up the corian for the signs, but this baby is HEAVY!!!! A big sign made from the stuff would weigh a ton. I'll have to make sure it's hung securely where ever it is that I'm going to hang it.

I've held it up in the shop on every wall, outside the shop....I just can't make up my mind. I'm really leaning to outside the shop just to the right of the front door.

I like the just outside the door idea, Terry. It make for a fine welcome to the hoards of visitors you tend to have over from time to time...you may need to build another "wing" to accomodate a bunch of bunk beds for your picnics! :D (Charge rent!--pay for tools!!)

hmmmmm....interesting...why didn't I think of that already???? :D I've just been offering yard and floor space for free!!

I will certainly enjoy showing off the sign in Sept. at the big bash.

It's 16 1/2' wide and 13" tall. Keith did a super job. Them there laser deals are pretty cool!!

Yeah, from the work I've seen Keith create, it's always been A-1 and your sign is no exception. :) If you can't find any other place to hang it, put a length of light-pull chain on it and wear it around your neck! :D You'd be displaying the sign and making a fashion statement all at the same time! :D :cool:

Dude!!!

Hanging this bad boy will require more than pull chain!!!! It would also require a trip to the chiropractor!!!! It's just a bit to heavy for jewelry. :D
