I have the Dewalt DW618D and would like to purchase the DW6184 fixed base but have not found anywhere to purchase it or the plunge base. Any internet site ideas???
Thanks. Pete

I know you can buy small replacement parts directly from the DeWalt web site. Maybe you can buy whole subassemblies too.

I bought my D-Handle base for the DW618 through A&I, but don't know if they sell the fixed or plunge bases separately. I love this router so much, I almost bought another D-Handle/motor package... :D

I called the Dewalt accessories department and the fixed base is $66.56 and the punge base is $133.12 for a total of $199.68 PLUS shipping. I can purchase an entire kit with both bases AND a motor and case and accessories for $215 delivered from Amazon! Sheesh

Buying the kit is worthy of your consideration, Pete. I often wish I had two identical motors, particularly when doing through dovetails or when I want to keep a particular setup through a project while doing other router tasks. But that's probably a little more than you originally intended to invest!! (Maybe you could find a refurb kit for less money??)
