I back up to redundant drives. Eventually, I'll install a proper RAID.

I back up my main computer to a 6TB ReadyNAS Pro configured for RAID 6 using Acronis TrueImage; full backup once a month, incremental backups each week. The critical data on the ReadyNAS is also copies to one of two 1TB RAID 5 NAS boxes that get swapped out, with the current one residing in my office across town. I picked Acronis based on a Lifehacker survey.

I keep thinking it would be easier to figure out how to configure something to allow me to VPN to my home net and do the backup over the i'net, but I am hampered by the lack of Admin privileges on my work computer. Might have to just bring in an old computer for that purpose.
