Well folks, it has certainly been one heck of a ride since I joined last year in February. Pat Germain and I had just attended a class with David Marks (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=77581&highlight=david+marks+class)when he turned me on to this forum.
I can honestly say that I have grown plenty in that time-frame BC of the Creek and for that I say thanks. Most of my posts have been complementary in nature as I find it is very important to encourage woodworking... that is why most all of us are here right? Some of my posts have helped folks solve problems and try new things in woodworking and I really love that:cool:.
I do not claim to be a woodworking genius or have posted mind-blowing stuff but the fact is when I need a wood working fix without being able to work in the shop, or I need place to ask a WW question, this is it, and has been since I signed up.
Thanks to all of the wonderful friends I have made here and thank you all for making my woodworking experience most enjoyable.
Also a special thanks to (not in any order here):
Walt Caza and the Morris Chair (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=85886) gang
Ken Fitzgerald, Steve Schlumpf, and the vast members of the turning community (too many to mention but you know who you are… especially those who bombed me!)
Jim Kountz and the Collaboration box (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=103579) gang
Pat Germain (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/member.php?u=18267) (without him I wouldn’t be here)
My Goat Locker (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/group.php?groupid=13) Bothers…hey we need a sister!?
All my registered friends (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/member.php?u=32240)
And all of the rest of you who I may have played PM tag, post tag, or helped me out along the way (sales transactions included)
SMC Rocks!!!
