Im sure it will give nicer scribes than I usually do but I wonder if it will save time as well. I dont usually use scribe sticks to cover gaps in built-ins. I will leave that stile loose an removable an when cabinet in place I will scribe it and then attach it.
With this quick scribe method you loose 1 inch I believe of wood. Im not sure if you loose 1 inch plus the furthest scribe or just the one inch.
