Walnut HF with faux collar

This walnut hf stands 10X5 with 8 or 9 coats of gloss wipe on poly. Has a fake collar turned with a bit of the "pouty lip" feel to it.The final coat of poly was minwax gloss spray poly then 3 wheel buffed. Guess I'm going to have to try taking these walnut pieces outdoors to photograph. You just cannot see into the piece to see all that grain mother nature put into it...Bill..

Love the form Bill! The fake collar continues the curve and draws the eye to the top of the form. Nice work! Your finish is great - as usual! You may have to play with screening/blocking your lights to reduce glare.... always something, eh?
