Good morning,

Does anyone have a reputable source for a motor rebuild in the Los Angeles area? (west side preferable)

I have an Inca 2200 cabinet saw that's developed a nasty noise. My guess is that the internal bearing is on it's way out.

thanx in advance.

Dick's Electric Motors
4521 Inglewood (a few doors south of Culver Blvd)
Culver City

(310) 391-4910

He did a motor on my 1950's Delta radial arm saw, and on an air conditioner.
He knows his stuff.

I drove down Culver Blvd. 2 weeks ago. The establishment and sign were still there. Perhaps just his phone has changed. Or maybe I wrote it down incorrectly.

Can you drive over? If not, try calling a nearby machine & tool dealer, Westwood Tools, on Sepulveda Blvd in Culver City. They'll know if he's still in business or can recommend someone else. Do a Google search for them.

I worked in the industrial motor business. There is a national organization of motor shops that are used by motor manufacturers to do warranty inspection and repairs.

It is called EASA. They arer listed by city.
