I lost my bookmarks for alot of different sites and a couple of them were for unique birdhouse ornaments. If anyone has any sites where unique birdhouse ornaments are show or if you make some yourself I would appreciate seeing some. I want to get started on some now so I do not get caught offguard later in the year. Thjanks for all replys.

John, I have a standing order at one of the shops I sell at. They want all I can make and call when they need more! I do lots with fine finials and cardinals, goldfinch, and bluebirds on the perches seem to sell best. The more woods I use in each one also get the customers going. Also leaving some of the bark on them gives it a very rustic earthy look and that always is good. Check out some of my posts and my website and there are pictures there. Here are some of the last ones I made.

Where do you get the birds from? Craft stores I assume?

Matt, I get mine from "Michaels" or other arts and craft outlets. There must be a supplier on the internet too, but I have not looked yet.

Thanks everyone for the links and the look into those who make them. Much appreciated. I have bookmarked these again.
I have gotten the little birds at craft stores but recently started getting them here. http://www.darice.com/ecom/ProductDetails.aspx?it=1302-21&oid=7431
