Need to buy a cylinder tube made from plywood or wood or anything else that is 104 tall by 20
Found some here http://www.tapeease.com/Wood%20Cylinders.htm but I need it in one piece
Can I find this anywhere online or around Chicago?
Need it to cover a column

Don't have a supplier for you, but if all else fails, you might look into making one for yourself out of flexible plywood (http://www.packardforestproducts.com/bending_plywood.html). It comes in 4x8 sheets like regular plywood and is available with the flexible direction such that it bends around the long or short axis of the sheet. I'm not entirely sure that it will bend on a 10" radius without cracking, but if no "ready-rolled" can be found, it's a possibility.

how about bendable plywood?
Other than that you would be looking at fabricating one.

Of course turning it round, if you wanted true round, would be another project.

Pm Matt Hutchinson in the turners forum. He lives in Michigan and has a big pattern makers lathe

Anderson International has tubes. www.aitwood.com. They're in Los Angeles, which may be an issue for you.

I have seen sonotube or concrete tubes wrapped with veneer that will work for this.
