Well, as you know, I have completed my Daughter's Oak cradle ( previous post (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=10200)) . Well the newest Creeker has arrived. Kailer Joseph Sloan arrived on July 24. 7lb 15 oz. Mom and Kailer are both doing well.
Yesterday was my first chance to see him in the Cradle so I thought you folks may want to see what all the work was for.
Thanks , one proud Pappy!

Congratulations Fred! By any chance did you carve your name as the maker into the bottom of the craddle? Also I think it would be cool if you carved your sons name and date of birth in the bottom as being the first resident of the craddle. Leave plenty of room so all future crib users can be listed in cronological order. In two centuries it would be cool to see all the names of the babies that slept in your cradle. Beautiful job Fred.
