Hello Everyone,
Looks like I have the honor of posting the first pictures from Bill Grumbine's "5 Barn's BBQ". I really wish I took more. But I was having such a great time, I forgot! And what a turn out we had! I think that over 100 people showed up this time.
Watching the Woodmizer work was such a blast! I wish I could have hung out more and seen it really put through it's paces. I am still amazed at how little sawdust is produced by all that cutting.
I spent about 50 minutes at Bill's Polewood Lathe demoing for Steven Atonucci how to turn a sphere in 5 minutes. As you can guess, it took me longer than what I had stated to turn a sphere. You try and start from scratch without any of the jigs made beforehand and you see how long it takes you! (So there!) :>)
It was great seeing all my friends again. Plus it was a real pleasant surprise seeing some old friends from Badger Pond; John Renzetti, Lee Scheirer, Moses Yoder, Dave Anderson, and Rod Peterson.
Rather than butcher the names (cause I realize I'm just about the worst person when it comes to remembering names), I'm going to let you all chime in and tell me who's name I missed in the photos! And yes, I already that the big guy with the maroon shirt and green hat is Bill Grumbine!
Here is a shot of all of us standing around the woodmizer. I see Bart Goldberg, Steve Antonucci, Al Kaposius (sp), Ted Owens, Bill Grumbine, and Ron from Drums PA (in the background). Help me out with the rest, will ya?

Here is a shot of Dan Donaldson and Mike Rubes. Can't quite make out who they're speaking with.

Here's Dave Anderson speaking with William Duffy (I believe).

If you can't tell by the photos, we all had a fantastic time. Like all things good, it was over way too soon. Thanks again to Bill for hosting this event.
