Prefinished ply in N. Va

Looking for a good supplier of prefinished cabinet ply in or around N. VA. Closer to the Winchester area would be preferred if possible.
Maple or Birch.

Try calling Warren Bickley (or Sam if Warren is not there) at Northland Forest Products in Manassas. (9300 Litho Ln Manassas, VA 20110 - (703) 393-7500.) If he does not have it in stock, he can order it. I know I have bought maple 4x8 (finished one side) from him. You ought to visit NFP anyway - lots of great stuff - off of SR 28 before downtown Manassas, not too far from I 66 - map on their site.

+1 For Northland, those guys are great. I have never tried but Allied plywood in Springfield has been recommended to me by fellow woodworkers.

Northland or Worth Group would be my choices, though it looks like both of them are a good ways from you.

Im finding prices for maple 3/4" both sides for about $89 and 1/2" for $10 less. Is this about right do you think? Seems reasonable enough to me?

Jim, I agree with the others that Northland is a very good and competitive place, BUT it's nowhere near Winchester even as the crow flies. My best guestimation is that it would be about 2 1/2 hours for you from your place in W.V.

That's about right Jim, I just payed $84.31 for 3/4" A1 flat sliced oak at Worth Group here in the Tidewater area. If you can use it in hidden areas, 3/4" B2 birch was only $35.82.

Thanks Mike, thats good to know. The stuff I found is in Alexandria but they have an office in Marshall VA which is about an hour from me.
Ron, depending on what time of day it is you're right about Win to Manassas. Just dont go between 6-8am and 3-6 pm !! You'll be sitting still for a long time!! LOL
