Here is a little walnut HF that I finished turning and finished with Antique Oil then buffed. It is 5" high and 4" across. Sold for $40 dollars. Lady brought a clock for repair and asked I just told her 40 she said can I pay and take it now. Really turned out nice out of a small piece of walnut.

Beautiful execution on the form Bernie. And the grain really adds so much to it also.

That is some beautiful grain. The shape is great to. I tend to have trouble with the shape of my hollow forms. That is usually what I am going for. Nicely done.

Great looking piece, Bernie! You know I love the walnut. It must be nice to sell pieces as they are coming off the lathe.;)

Bernie - very pretty little hollow form! Love the form, wood and finish! I can see why it sold so quickly! Congrats on the sale! Did she wait for the finish to dry or just take it to-go?

Very nice piece, Bernie. I like the raised lip detail around the mouth and the overall shape is quite pleasing to the eye! That's allot of fancy for $40 ;)

Beautiful piece, Bernie. Only $40? You could probably get 4 times that for this one (at least at an art show, maybe not with a local sale). Anyways, very nice HF, I love the form and the wood.

Thanks again. Yea I probably should have told her $60 or more but it was one of the smallest I have turned so wasn't sure. Hey the wood was free and took me about a hour and a half total so came out pretty good.

That piece looks great. Love the wood contrast. Wow, I can't believe the price. I bet she was smiling with her new purchase. I know I would have.:)

Thanks again. I think if were slightly bigger it would have been a lot more but it is pretty small.

Nice looking vase Bernie. Glad you gave the lady a bargain too. That bargain will turn into more sales, or at least that's what I've always seen. I bet she was one happy lady too.:D

I really like the form on that one. The subtle curve on the sides and the rim all blend very nicely.
