Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place in Phoenix that would be able to help me (or do it for me) resaw a 12" wide, 12/4 cherry board into about 3/4 thick pieces (12 x 3/4). I tried to do it on my 14" bandsaw with a riser, and it's just too unwieldy.

Thanks,
Brian

Perhaps a better blade and some in/out feed support would get you to your goal?

How long is the board? If long, can you cut it down for your project? I've made the mistake in the past keeping boards longer than I needed to thereby making handling a lot more challenging than it needed to be.

It's 6 ft long. I could cut it down to 3 ft lengths and it still should be usable. I'd like to keep the width if at all possible though.
